Changes to The Connection, Leadership and Networking Blog

I made a few changes to the blog today:

changed the theme color to green to represent the season of growth that we are entering into.  Spring is just around the corner and I hope that you are still growing and learning.  The color green represents so many things, two things that it represents to me are growth and money so I wish the most of both for you.

I also added a video clip from John Maxwell on Leadership, I look up to John as a trusted advisor and his advice and life lessons on leadership are right on the mark so take a few moments to watch the video and leave me a comment if you like it or not.

I mentioned this in a previous post however, it’s a recent change so I wanted to remind you of it also.  I added the top 3 books that I recomend right now, currently they are all about leadership and if you click on the book you can read more about it and purchase it at amazon.com

That is all for now, stop back soon for more valuable connection, leadership and networking knowledge,

Best Guide to Best Online Success Programs For Social Prosperity

Like beauty, success is in the eye of the beholder. Whether you become successful in life is truly dependent upon your personal definition of “success”. For some success is obtaining great wealth, money and prestige.

For others it is raising a happy family. Still for others it could be health, prosperity a fruitful social life. Regardless of what your definition of success is one fact remains true, you must have a clear vision of what you want in order to obtain what you seek. Your goals cannot be vague or fuzzy they must be solid, firmly set in your minds eye as though you have already received them.

This was the basis for the creation of the Life Success Library.com, a website that offers e-programs from various authors all geared to several aspects of success. There are many such reference libraries out there and they’re a great way to research your goals. But for now, let’s take each definition of success and break it down starting with wealth.

It is not enough to just say, I want to be rich. After all, who doesn’t? Ask yourself the more important question, what does “rich” mean to me? How much money would it take for me personally to declare myself wealthy? You may be surprised to learn that this number changes from person to person. What may be considered rich by one individual may barely scratch the surface of wealth to another. One may wish for the treasures of Solomon while another simply wants enough to comfortably take care of their family and retire. So once again ask yourself, what would it take for me to be financially satisfied? Once you have this figure established firmly in your mind next ask yourself, what am I willing to do to get it and what am I lacking that keeps me from meeting my goal?

Can you write the next great novel or screenplay?

Do you have a great idea for a product that you feel the world is just waiting in line to buy? If not, your next best bet is to start a home business. Research libraries such as the ones I mentioned earlier would be your best place to start. If you feel you lack the knowledge necessary, look in on local community college classes. Some courses are no more than a few weeks long and you can take them at night. Whatever your path, DO NOT let anyone including yourself get in the way to your goal.

Now let’s consider Health, Family and Social life success. I combine these because one can either lead to or contribute to the others. For example, a healthy life can mean a longer and happier family life free from the burdens of severe health issues. A happy family life will lead all including any children that may exist or come along in the future to having a more level, well adjusted social life. This formula can work in reverse as well starting with a happy social life leading to a successful family life contributing to a healthier and longer life. Everything is connected.

For some health, family and a good social life is worth more than all the money in the world. For these individuals life success is just a matter of viewpoint and adjustments. Remember, we can’t control the actions of others but we can control our own. Once we gain control of our own inner-selves the world around us can seem to alter in a positive light. I have posted several programs regarding this at Life Success Library.com because I know the life changing positive affects this can have on the lives of people just like you and I.

Whatever your situation in life may be, whatever your personality may reflect, you can take control of your existence if you know where you wish to go, who you want to be and be firmly determined to make the path clear to obtain it.

Good Journey To You in your search for self help or social life. These and other opportunities can be found by online research.

How can speeding make You more successful

Aside from being a leader and living a leadership lifestyle, I am a consumate student of successful marketers, why, you ask?

Because that is where the big bucks are made. Don’t get me wrong, I am not in love with money, it does allow one to do more for others though and that is what I like to learn about because it ties in directly with leadership.

Most recently I noticed Brad Fallon of Stomper Net discussing how speed was a critical factor to accomplishing more of the goals that one has in relation to growing any business.

Brad said “Speed is the positive personality trait that builds up when there is a constant focus on this key constraint called time.  Speed has to be driven into the culture by the CEO ( or leader) and every manager. It doesn’t just happen.”

Again the subject of speed came about with Dan Kennedy’s recent PR campaign for his Phenomenon program. Dan was sharing on a video presentation how speed is often the bane of organizations because the leader wants to bring ideas and concepts to life quickly and get them installed into pre-existing business models but the organizations that are in place and the personnel that work with them are slow to adopt new idea and impliment them when if they did they would see an exponential growth spurt.

Dan went on to say that most people who tell you that you can not get rich quick are the one’s who do not believe in growing or profitting fast, this led me to believe that one can actually get rich quick as long as speed is a characteristic of the business plan and one of the over-riding goals of all involved in the venture.

Leave me a comment and tell me your thoughts on “Speed” as well as if you think it’s possible to get rich quick, I am eager to hear your thoughts on this one.

Always to Your Quick Success,
