When MJ Talks Mark Edward Brown Listens

First it happened to my brutha from anotha mutha Devon Brown, then it happened to my friend and fellow veteran Ross Goldberg, then it happened to me, and now it’s happened to Russel Brunson; we all had out Utube accounts shut down and deactivated with no explanation from them or their parent company guugle.

I have been highly upset and even a little bit peeved however like my marketing buddies I adapted and overcame. I am now using metacafe to do my videos and was about ready to completely write guugle off when an interesting message arrived in my inbox.

My friend, marketing mentor and another highly respected veteran; Mark Joyner sent me an e-mail and invited me to join Google+

I have been sent a few invitations to try out the new google social media platform however prior to now I have not given it much thought because I am really into Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter.  However, when Mark Joyner talks – I listen.

I joined Google+ and so far my opinion is neutral.  I am glad MJ sent me an invite because nothing that he has ever told me has been bullshit.  I am serious, this guy is a genius, if you dont believe me just do a google search for “Mark Joyner” and you will see all the proof you need, not just what I am saying.

Heck I recomend you read all of his books and join his free program called Simpleology

Make sure you watch the video, especially around the 1 minute 8 second mark, your going to luv it.

Let me know if you are using google+ and if not let me know if you want to be sent an invitation to try it out.  I don’t know how long the invitation phase will last so leave me a comment or send me an e-mail and I will hook you up.

Be sure and leave a comment, you can make fun of that photo or if you have used googe+, or Simpleology tell me your experience and let’s start a dialogue.

As always I wish YOU the best in $uccess,

Easter Update from Mark Edward Brown

Easter Rabbit     Happy Easter!  I have been crazy busy and “Wham” easter is here, feels like it was just January.  I am glad that it’s warming up allthough I haven’t seen any 70 degree days yet over here in Korea.  I was visited by 2 Easter Bunnies who brought me cupcakes and candy – that was really cool.

*Don’t worry my Love (Wifey) they weren’t playboy bunnies, it was one of the cool families that I work with and it was very much appreciated.

Last week the correctional facility that I run was audited by a team of inspector/auditors from Army Corrections Command.  It was quite a lengthy process and it went really well, of course my team prepared diligently as well as backward planned accordingly and they did quite well.  Good things were said all the way around and I am very proud of all of them!  Kudos to my correctional family.

Online I have been working away as well.  My latest blog post from Traffic Dynamite has a testamonial as well as a reminder to “Like” TD on Facebook: http://trafficdynamite.blogspot.com/2011/04/i-recently-recieved-another-cool.html

The Web Traffic News blog has a video book review of The Web Traffic Book by a fellow veteran, Ross Goldberg.  I will be adding some new content there this week so if you are into website or blog traffic check out:  http://webtrafficnews.com/web-traffic-book-review#comment-325

I saved the best for last because my marketing mentor and another fellow veteran, Mark Joyner is giving away some recordings dealing with psychological triggers at my Marketing Professional blog:  http://themarketingprofessional.com/victorias-sectret-omaha-steaks

There you have it my friends, life in mi vida loca…

Leave me a comment and let me know how you been and what you been doing?

Mark Edward Brown runs barefoot in Korean Monsoon

I am currently back in the USA on vacation with my family however I recently embarked on an unlikely event that I am dedicating to the barefooted running phenom known as Tellman Knudson, he’s also a millionaire marketer whom I follow closely.  I also want to mention one of my mentors Mark Joyner who is responsible for my introduction to Tellman (he’s also in the photo with Tellman).

Tellman is in the center with the white tank top and Mark has the red t-shirt on.

Many people that know me already know that I am an avid runner, I have been doing it since I was a kid and while I probably started as a barefooted babe until recently I had no desire to run without socks or shoes.

Here is what happened; I am stationed in Korea as I type this, I am there because of my Army career.  It’s the monsoon season right now and it had been raining like crazy all morning so I had not run yet.  Later in the day when the rain stopped I knew it was time to get a run in.  I was having a great run and some of the road I was running on was under water due to the amount of rain earlier in the day.  There was no way I was going to run through ankle to knee high water so I took off my socks and shoes and began to walk through the water.

As soon as I arrived at the end of the underwater portion of the road it began to rain again so I figured “what the heck” Tellman does this all the time and Mark did it as well so I’ll give it a try.

I ran barefooted for about a quarter of a mile and then I put my socks and shoes back on.  I thought to myself  “if only Tellman and Mark could see me now” :-)   It stopped downpouring just as I was ending my run and I was stoked because I gained some insight into how mentally tough you have to be to run barefooted.

You can see and learn more about Tellman’s barefooted running exploits here: http://www.runtellmanrun.com  and Mark Joyner runs the world’s number 1 Character Building Program Simpleology.com

Leave me a comment about your latest adventure.

Here’s to your fitness pursuits and character building exploits,
