Growing Militant, A Marketer’s Mindset

Last weekend I added some links to the links page I also switched auto-responder services and am now using Aweber.  I now have three interests that I am focussing my attention on, they are:

1) Blogging

2) The continued development of TrafficDynamite.com

3) Growing ProTrackerPlus into an even more successful web analytics solution.

I am constantly and consistently refining and improving my mindset for success as well as learning leadership techniques and militant marketing methods that I will pass on as they prove themselve in life and on the cyber battlefield.

How Militant Marketers create Blog Stats that Matter

Less then 90 days ago I began my blog, so as any strategic thinking (militant) marketer would do I wanted to see how Mark Edward Brown’s
Blog was doing when compared to say Mark Joyner’s or Seth Godin’s blog!

You may be thinking to yourself “How can a guy that just started a blog less then 90 days ago (at the time of this writing) compare himself to a Godin or Joyner level marketer?

I’ll not only tell you how, I will show you how also, that is what distinguishes a true Militant Marketer from other run of the mill, wanabee blogger/marketers!

I went to WebsiteGrader.com and had them run a comprehensive test of how The Militant Marketer / Warrior Leader Blog stacks up with Icons of this marketing era.

My blog ranked 77 out of 100 which is not to bad, in fact it is slightly better then I expected.

Both my Blog Rank and my Traffic Rankings were better then Seth’s site and my Inbound Links, Traffic Ranking and Blog Ranking was better
then Mark Joyner’s blog.

I need to improve my Google Page Rank and tie in some more social marketing activities but over all I am satisfied with this ranking and it gives me a good baseline to make improvements from.

O.K. hold on, No Way – I am not basing my happy – happy / joy – joy feelings on one websites statistics.  I also went to Blogged.com where they reviewed my blog for me and they ranked my blog as a 7.5 out of 10!

How cool is that?

How To Use Blog Basics For Militant Marketing

I get lot’s of e-mails and instant messages from Militant Marketing Recruits around the world who want to know how to set up a blog, I usually refer them to my secret source for blog instalations, after all, I paid someone to set mine up.

All of that has changed however, I have been educated and the basics of blogging are really not that hard to do plus in the future you will be able show begining bloggers where to go to get educated as well.

One of the few bloggers that I pay attention to is named Yaro Starak, he writes a Blog Tips Newsletter and has written an e-book called “Blog Profits Blueprint”.  I have read it and recomend it as well.

Anyway, to the point; Yaro and Gideon Shalwick have put together a no-cost resource that I highly recomend.

The site is called Become A Blogger and it shows you how to produce a blog-site and get started as a blogger.

If you are just now learning about websites and blogs, these videos are a fantastic introduction to the steps every budding webmaster must take at some point, like buying a domain name and web hosting, and learning how to FTP.
