Mark Edward Brown in The Land of The Morning Calm

I have actually done some travelling since my last post.  Korea is a fascinating place.  It has an industrial and at times ancient feeling to it however the around the very next turn you may see technology or fascinating architecture.

My favorite dish is Bulgogi and rice which is a sweet tasting beef dish usually made with white rice and some vegetables, if you know me you can probably guess that I pick the vegetables out and just eat the good stuff – the meat and the rice!

One of my most recent highlights was a visit to a Korean correctional facility, otherwise known as a prison or disciplinary barracks, some folks just call them a jail.  I am going to be working in the corrections field while I am over here so it was relevant to my current job that I go through that experience.  That was the first time in my life I have been to a prison and I intend on staying on the good side of those bars of that there is no doubt.

It is a challenge at times being away from family and loved ones, I really do not care to imagine what it’s really like to be incarcerated or jailed for that matter.

On a lighter note, the weather has warmed up and I hope to see no more snow until next winter, now I am being told that monsoon season is around the corner – that should be interesting.  I was informed that it gets hot and it just rains & is very humid all the time, ew, yuck, I am not looking forward to that but hey it’s part of the experience right?

I made a few changes around the blog, I chaged the background color to green representing spring and I updated my reading list to display what I am currently reading, what I have finished reading and what book I have on tap.

Please leave me a comment, I do respond back.

Until next time – best regards,

Mark Edward Brown

  4. Hi Mike,

    Done and done.

I’m a big fan of ‘this neck of the woods’! lol

In the next project we’re working is aimed a lot more your way ;)

Any recommendations for “MUST READS” on your reading list?

  6. Hi Mike,

Thanks for the FaceBook add. I would be happy to give you a recomendation and after I do I would like one back from you, more on that in a moment… The book that I recomend the most, above all others, without question is – Simpleology by Mark Joyner. It’s not because I work for the guy, I actually read it before he brought me on as his Success Strategist and have read it multiple times since, all I can say is get it and read it!

Now, which of your sites would you recomend that I check out? Also keep in mind that in the future some time I would like to do some cooperation marketing with you. I bought http://www.TrafficDynamite.com late last year and have been steadily building it up and any new exposure that I can garner for it is good all the way around.

Keep me posted on your “project” and know that I wish you continued success,

    Mark
