Here is a new quote about how to distinguish luck from ability in one’s life:
Luck and ability can always be distinguished by their duration in you life!

How do you feel about luck (is there such a thing), what have you learned about ability? Do you feel like you can control either one, and if so how? Leave me a comment so we can talk about it.

LUCK: I think that we are creating luck with our abilities

Hi Sasha,
Creating luck with ability, that is an interesting concept – care to elaborate or explain further?
I am intrigued – Mark
Hello Mark,
Great questions you’ve posted! I believe luck does exist. However, most humans tend to think they have control of many situations. How much control do we really have? We can set our alarms, discipline ourselves to prevent danger, educate ourselves, and much more. Nonetheless, some things are out of our control; this may be where luck comes in.

Hi George,
I do agree with you that some things are out of our control however I also think that we have the ability to control much more than we choose to quite often. You are saying that you believe luck is not something one can control, is that right?
Thanks again for your comment and interaction, Mark
Mark,
In my humble opinion I believe we set ourselves up for “lucky” situations. For instance, if try to promote ourselves in getting a job, or building a business, or making friends we expose ourselves to others. In exposing ourselves we “control” the places we apply for employment, what social media sites we join, and what type of business we want to promote. When we get hired, or build our business, or establish friendships we sometimes get “lucky” in the results even though we took control of our choices. Sometimes “chance” meetings take place, or we encounter “lucky” situations.
Take good care,
George Zapo
Hi George,
We certainly do “set ourselve up” for success or not!
All the best always – Mark
