To say I have been busy has been an understatement however there is no way that I would not take time out on my Birthday to blog about what I have been doing.
If you have been following my adventures I have been in Korea since January 10. In May 2010 I move to south central Korea and less then two weeks ago I assumed Command of my 3rd unit. They say that 3 times a charm or the third time is the charm or whatever – I guess my superiors have given me the thumbs up and vote of confidence that I have “Leadership 101″ figured out because they dont give 3 successive commands back to back to just anybody.
To say I am thankful is an understatement. You know the term “dream job”, well I don’t even have one of those, this is more like a dream career because it’s been over 20 years already and it seems like just a few months ago that I got started. I Love leading troops and working with other leaders!
I miss my family the most however I stay busy by running, biking, weight training, Tae Kwon Do etc.
I also help people out online with website traffic generation and am a strategist and caretaker for one of the most brilliant men I have ever met – Mark Joyner, just google the guy and you will see what I mean. Mark is a veteran and we have allot in common, he is a mentor of mine and a good friend.
I have many friends that I keep in touch with online so I am very thankful for the internet and technology too obviously.
I did not have a cake this year but that is o.k. I could not have eaten an entire cake by myself anyway
Tell me how you celebrated your most recent Birthday by leaving me a comment.
To Happy Birthdays,
Mark Edward Brown
